Using Marso AI

Simply log into your M-XR account and you will see Marso AI on the left side, click Marso AI to launch the web app.

Once you are within the web app, you will see a simple UI with an area to upload your existing alembic file and an area to upload your base colour texture.

Getting a Result

To get an output from Marso AI, you will need to provide an alembic file and base colour texture.

  1. Upload your alembic .abc.

  2. Upload your base colour texture .png .

  3. Click Create.

Only alembic files can be used - if you need to convert your existing mesh you can do so by following these instructions within Blender:

  1. Open Blender.

  2. Go to File → Import → Choose your file type.

  3. Once imported, go to File → Export → Alembic .abc.

  4. Ensure that the mesh is orientated up (not upside down or wonky).

  5. Ensure that the mesh is not parented under any objects or emptys.

  6. Choose your settings and export.

Outputs

  • To download, click on the three dots on asset you would like to download and click download.

  • You will receive roughness, albedo, metallic and normal maps in a .zip.

  • Execution speeds will vary on queue length and the amount of active users, you will receive an email once your output is complete.
