If this is the first capture you have done with the camera and light set-up, you will need to Capture a Calibration Image. The RAW image and measurements will be user to create configuration presets later.
Capturing for Marso has stricter requirements than an normal photogrammetry. Make sure to follow the checklist below for the best results.
If there is any ambient light, your light source must be able to overpower it.
JPEG input is not supported by Marso.
Use the same exposure settings as the Calibration Image, otherwise you will need to take a new one.
Trigger your flash or light source on every capture. If you are using multiple lights, always trigger them in the same order, and use every light before moving the camera.
Markers are recommended to improve the accuracy of the photogrammetry solve. Make sure that if the subject rotates, the markers rotate with them.
Marso also requires the solved scene to be accurately scaled, so it is a good idea to have at least two markers placed at a known distance apart, as this can be used to scale the scene.
Being able to capture angles above and below the asset will improve results considerably. Please visit this page for more information about Coverage.
Try to keep the subject large in the frame, while still capturing the whole subject in every frame.
If you are using multiple cameras, they must be the same model.
Once you have captured your photography, you can Create a Job.
